Tasseography (Tea Leaf Reading)

Tasseography 101

Wednesday Novemeber 20th

7:00-9:00P.M.

The art of reading tea leaves is referred to as Tasseography (or Tasseomancy) and is a divination or fortune-telling method that in western tradition interprets patterns in tea leaves. The term also refers to the reading of coffee grounds, especially in the Middle Eastern tradition. The term has also been applied to the reading of wine sediments.

Tea leaf reading is an ancient practice interpreting patterns made by tea leaves in the cup. In addition to the reading of tea leaves, the tradition of tasseography includes the reading of coffee grounds and wine sediments. Although tasseography is commonly associated with Gypsy fortunetellers, the tradition of tea leaf reading arises independently from Asia, the Middle East and Ancient Greece.

July Farm to Table: Murder Mystery

Guest Host Beth Ackerman-Ornelas will be leading our special night of dinner and intrigue throughout our farm to table dinner with Chef Chris Zettlemoyer…

A Timeless Tale of Treachery and Treason in a kingdom far, far away…

After the mysterious disappearance of Cinderella, Prince Charming is throwing a ball to find a new bride. Some of the Kingdom residents question how the prince could move on so quickly, while others are jumping at the chance to earn their spot as the new princess in the castle.

As the evening escalates, a killing occurs in the palace…leaving you to write the final chapter. Will you finger the fairy godmother whose magic cannot give her the outcome she desires? The prince who has used his riches to alienate others? A devious dwarf who may know too much? Or perhaps a pouting princess who is plotting to win the heart of Prince Charming?

In a kingdom where jealousy, betrayal and deception are common story lines, it will be up to you to find the felon so that everyone can live happily ever after.

A vision board is an amazing way to MANIFEST YOUR MAGNIFICENT LIFE! When you make a vision board, you get clear on what you want to have, see, do, and be. Looking at this board each day aligns your brain with the outcomes you most want to attract. Join us in preparing for the New Year with a clear vision of your dreams and create a beautiful piece of art. Most vision boards are a mish-mash of collage on poster board that looks like a child’s school project, but this version of a vision board is a uniquely beautiful work of mixed media art on canvas that you can proudly hang in your home or office. It will be made by your hand and infused with your vibration of creativity.
